This is great. It feels very honest, like the camera is stripping down for me to see. What is interesting is the parody of a machine being able to "bare" its insides while a human cannot --- in the emotional sense, not physical. It's funny because a machine doesn't have feelings but is able to let you see this side of it, while a human is unable to do so even if he wanted to.
Emotions are difficult to bare, in the fullest sense, because a human, has many, many layers of emotions. And each particular reaction to a particular instant, is a combination of the particular individual’s brain wiring and past experience.
To take your thoughts a bit further, it is interesting how this machine, while emotionless, but through images it captures, can provoke thoughts in us. At least, that is my humble hope.
Emotions are indeed difficult to bare; it is interesting how you use the word "naked" as the title for this photo = as bare as can be to describe the human flesh, yet the subject? A piece of machinery.
I've said it before, Ill say it again: I'm in love.
